Transit Talk: How could light rail impact U District businesses?
Look around, significant transportation related investments are being made in the U District—investments that will change how people get to, through and from the area. Link light rail will become operational in 2021 expanding economic capacity and growth. What will these changes mean to our business district? What does this mean for how customers get here? And what impacts will this have on how businesses and organizations hire and retain staff?
Join the conversation for an opportunity to engage with leaders who have experienced transportation-related changes in their neighborhoods. 2021 may seem a ways off, but there are actionable items that your business or community organization can do now that will help ensure it is ready for change.
