We would like to introduce U District, Let’s Go’s program assistant Brenda Nguyen. Brenda is a senior at the University of Washington, studying Environmental Studies. Born and raised in Seattle, she has utilized the public transit system her whole life. When the launching of the 2016 Link Light Rail extension happened, her commute became even better! Cutting her commute down to just one hour! Allowing her to ditch her car and take the bus/link to work and school. Brenda has been an advocate for public transportation since her debut as an individualized commute planner for UW Transportation Services. She hopes to continue her education through the college of Urban Planning to become a larger advocate for Transportation Planning. Brenda has decided to take on more responsibilities by assisting Miriam with personalized commute planning, wayfinding, media, and marketing.
