New Era of Programming
This December, the U District, Let’s Go year-long pilot is coming to an end, however a new era is about to begin. Thanks to continued partnership with Seattle Department of Transportation, the U District Partnership and the University of Washington School of Social Work. We’re still finalizing the details and will let you know more when the time comes. In the meantime, meet Laura Lee Strum who will be working on the future iteration of U District, Let’s Go!
Laura Lee was born and raised in the Southwest suburbs of Chicago before attending University in Burlington, North Carolina. She worked on a variety of political campaigns across Virginia, North Carolina, and Florida before moving to Seattle in 2014. In Seattle, she has worked with Downtown Emergency Service Center as a Case Manager as well as organized with a local Labor Union. Laura Lee loves the outdoors and uses every opportunity to take long road trips exploring new places. She’s so excited to continue working on U District, Let’s Go and hear more about all the wonderful work everyone is doing!
We’re thrilled that the neighborhood will continue to benefit from transportation resources through her work.
